…My cancer went away

In 2004 I found out that I had both pancreatic and colon cancer.  The lymph glands under my arms were the size of dimes and very inflamed.  I had known that something was wrong for a few years due to the “symptoms” including depression, rectal bleeding and overall fatigue and I might add I was very scared.

I had watched my father and my cousin go through agony and subsequently pass while being treated for cancer with the traditional modalities of radiation and chemotherapy and decided that I would not take that path. After they passed I had read that there is a 2% cure rate when only traditional modalities are used as the treatment.

At the same time a dear friend of mine was dealing with prostate cancer.  So I went on a quest to find a cure for my friend.  What I learned was that cancer is nothing to fear and in many cases is easy to cure since it lives on fat and sugar. The fastest way to reduce the number of active cancer cells in your body is to eliminate all fat and sugar from your diet.  And, at the same time it is best to get the ph value of your blood between 7.35 and 7.45.  At this level your body will function more efficiently and strengthen your immune system.  Eating a diet rich in alkaline foods is one of the best ways to restore your ph to its optimum level.  There are many sources on the internet that offer information on using food to alkalize your body.

Once your ph level is restored to the optimum level your body can more effectively heal itself.  The pioneer and authority on cancer prevention through diet is Michio Kuchi, born in 1926 in Japan, who helped introduce modern macrobiotics to the United States in the early 1950s.  In his book, “The Cancer Prevention Diet”, he dedicates a chapter to each type of cancer, an appropriate diet for that type of cancer and case studies.

This approach resonated with me so I began the recommended diet which included four organic grains and specific steamed vegetables.  Within five weeks my lymph glands returned to normal and I had more energy and felt better than I had in many years.  I stayed on the strict diet for 2 months and then began adding other vegetables to my meals.  For 3 months I maintained a vegetarian diet, lost most of my body fat and looked and felt 15 years younger.  Six months later I re-introduced some animal protein and other fats and sugars into my diet.

It’s been 7 years and I feel and look great.
